Neighbor to the better-known Baa Atoll, Raa is just as wild but far less visited. Here, seasonal plankton blooms attract manta rays, while coral reefs are thriving with reef sharks, turtles, and tropical fish. It's a more peaceful counterpart to Baa's famous manta vortexes, offering the same marine abundance without the heavy tourism that's plaguing the Maldives overall.
