Seahouses

Seahouses is the heartbeat of Northumberland’s coast, a small harbor town that looks out toward the wildlife stronghold of the Farne Islands. Each summer, tens of thousands of puffins, guillemots, and other seabirds transform the cliffs and burrows into one of the UK’s most spectacular breeding colonies. Grey seals crowd the islands, coming quite close to those brave enough to get in these cold waters. From Seahouses, boats head straight into the action, offering close encounters with some of the richest marine life in England.
