Ericeira

Just north of Lisbon, Ericeira is the only World Surfing Reserve in Europe, where Atlantic swells hit the coast with epic power. Waves like Ribeira d'Ilhas and Coxos have made it a pilgrimage site for surfers from around the globe. North, the coast's rocky reefs and currents attract an incredible range of marine life, including seasonal mola mola. Onshore, cobbled streets, fishing boats, and rolling farmland make this working village a well-loved gem.
