about

Jeddah sits on the edge of the Red Sea, where the desert falls away to waters alive with color. Just offshore, coral reefs stretch for miles, home to turtles, reef sharks, dolphins, and seasonal whale sharks. Strong conservation efforts are now underway, with Saudi Arabia designating vast swaths of this coastline as protected marine reserves. For divers, the walls and wrecks here are so different from what can be expected on the other side of the Red Sea in Egypt and are largely unknown to the wider world.
